Speed Dating Event – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket and attending a Ruhi Social Club Speed Dating event, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Format

Ruhi Social Club provides a professionally organised speed dating experience designed to facilitate introductions between singles in a respectful, safe and enjoyable environment.

Attendance at the event does not guarantee a romantic match, relationship or future communication with any participant.

2. Confidentiality & Contact Details

To ensure fairness, privacy and the integrity of the matching process, participants are strictly prohibited from exchanging any personal information during the event.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Mobile numbers
• WhatsApp details
• Email addresses
• Social media handles
• Business cards
• Full names
• Requests to meet privately after the event

All introductions beyond the event will be managed exclusively by Ruhi Social Club.

Only where two participants have mutually selected one another as a match will management release contact details to both parties.

Failure to comply with this rule may result in removal from the event and disqualification from the matching process without refund.

3. Matching Process

Each participant will receive a Match Card during registration.

Throughout the speed dating sessions, participants must record the badge number of every person they wish to be matched with.

Only badge numbers recorded on the official Match Card will be considered.

After the event has concluded, no additional matches may be added or amended.

Ruhi Social Club will not be able to identify participants based on descriptions such as clothing, appearance, seating position or any other personal recollection.

It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure the correct badge numbers are recorded before submitting their Match Card.

4. Match Results

Match cards will be processed after the event.

Participants should allow approximately two to three business days for all selections to be verified and mutual matches to be confirmed.

Once the process has been completed, Ruhi Social Club will personally contact successful mutual matches and provide each party’s contact information.

No information regarding unmatched participants will be disclosed.

5. Respectful Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow attendees, venue staff and event organisers.

Harassment, intimidation, inappropriate language, discrimination or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Ruhi Social Club reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour negatively affects the experience of others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

6. Ticket Policy

All ticket purchases are final.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a participant purchases a ticket and does not attend the event for any reason, no cash refund will be issued.

At the discretion of Ruhi Social Club, one of the following goodwill options may be offered:

• A credit equal to 50% of the original ticket value towards a future Ruhi Social Club event; or
• One complimentary ticket to the next Ruhi Social Club Speed Dating event when it is held.

This goodwill offer is entirely at the discretion of management and is not guaranteed.

7. Event Changes

Ruhi Social Club reserves the right to amend event dates, venues, schedules or event formats should circumstances beyond our control require changes.

Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Photography & Media

Photographs and videos may be captured throughout the event for personal identification purposes and will not be posted publicly or used to share to other members. Its simply used to help admin to identify who was sitting wear and to cross reference to see their badge numbers if we need to go back to double check if we missed something or someone.

By attending the event, participants consent to being photographed or filmed.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration and the matching process will remain confidential and will only be used for event administration and the facilitation of mutual matches.

Participant information will never be shared with other attendees unless both parties have mutually selected one another and consent has been provided through the matching process.

10. Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by all event rules established by Ruhi Social Club.
